NYC Bar Diversity Fellowship Information Session
In 1991, the New York City Bar's Committee on Recruitment and Retention of Lawyers established a program of summer clerkships for first-year law students to address the under-representation of minority lawyers in law firms and corporate law departments. This program, the New York City Bar Diversity Fellowship Program, offers to first-year law students from under-represented populations a unique summer employment opportunity in outstanding law firms, corporate law departments and the New York City Law Department. Compensation for these summer employment opportunities vary from employer to employer but are expected to be in the approximate range of $800 to $3,300 per week.
The Office of Career Services will host an information session for first year students who are interested in submitting applications for this Fellowship. You will receive information on the application process and timing, hear from second and third year students who were Fellows in 2013 and 2014 and have the opportunity to ask questions about the program.
Monday, November 17 | 12-1pm | Room 206
