A Student Goes Into A Bar . . .
The Office of Career Services will host a program that discusses the benefits of membership in one of the many different bar associations available in New York.
Bar associations provide a variety of programs and resources for law students and young attorneys, such as the opportunity to meet attorneys with a similar practice area interest or similar cultural or ethnic background. Bar membership is a great way to explore an area of the law that may be of particular interest to you and is also an excellent way to meet and work with some of the best legal minds in New York. At this session, you will learn about the benefits of becoming a student member of a bar association as well as the opportunities to become actively involved with and advance your career through membership.
Monday, September 8 | 12-1pm | Room 206
