Racial Justice & Self-Defense: The Trials of Kyle Rittenhouse, the Ahmaud Arbery Defendants, and the Charlottesville “Unite the Right” Organizers

Join Professors Alafair Burke, Fred Klein and Mark Niles in a panel discussion regarding the criminal trials of Kyle Rittenhouse and the three defendants in the Ahmaud Arbery shooting, as well as the civil trial of the Charlottesville “Unite the Right” organizers, as they relate to self-defense, citizen arrests, and civil rights.  The discussion will be moderated by Professor Theo Liebmann, and there will be Q and A from the audience.  

This event is free, open to the public, and will be held in person and via Zoom.
