Eilene Zimmerman, author of Smacked: A Story of White-Collar Ambition, Addiction and Tragedy (Random House, Feb. 2020) will join us for a reading and discussion about her book that traces her ex-husband's descent into drug addiction while a high-powered attorney. Ms. Zimmerman focuses on opioid abuse in the US which resonates across classes and cultures, impacting law schools and the legal profession as a whole.
This event is free, open to the public, and will be held via Zoom.
