Responses to Coronavirus: Legal, Ethical, Clinical and Public Health Perspectives on Pandemic Disease

This timely panel discussion will focus on interdisciplinary responses to pandemic disease such as the coronavirus, with legal, ethical, clinical and public health perspectives with experts from across Hofstra University. Among the issues to be addressed are the challenges of balancing public health with civil liberties, bias and xenophobia in policy and public responses, dealing with uncertainty in planning and decision-making, and others.
Hofstra Northwell School of Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies; Hofstra School of Health Professions and Human Services; and the Program in Medical Humanities at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
