Careers in Housing Law Panel
Wednesday, November 28 | 6-8 p.m. | Hofstra Law School | Room 205
Due to New York City’s recent funding of the Universal Access to Counsel Program in New York City Housing Court, many legal services organizations are in great need of attorneys who can help meet the demands of universal representation. As a result, these organizations are seeking law student interns as well as graduating 3Ls for permanent positions involving housing. Additionally, there can be available positions as a court attorney to a Housing Judge.
Judge Fern Fisher, who until joining the Hofstra family was the judge in charge of the Housing Court, will moderate a discussion of the exciting career opportunities in housing law and the steps you can take now in order to best prepare for these positions.
