A Student Goes Into A Bar
Not that kind of bar! The Office of Career Services will host an information session on the benefits of bar association membership.
Bar associations provide a variety of programs and resources for law students and young attorneys, such as the opportunity to meet attorneys with similar practice area interests or similar cultural or ethnic backgrounds. Bar association membership is a great way to explore an area of the law that may be of particular interest to you and is also an excellent way to meet and work with some of the best legal minds in New York. At this information session, you will learn about the benefits of becoming a student member of a bar association as well as the opportunities to become actively involved with and advance your career through membership.
Tuesday, September 20 | Noon - 1:30 p.m. | Maurice A. Deane School of Law | Room 230
